Day 26 | Anxiety

Submitted By, Elder Ivan O’Connor

“You may see me struggle, but you won’t see me quit.” … author unknown. Sometimes Lord I feel that I am at the end of my strength. The weight of family, friends,  situations, and just daily living takes a toll on my mental, physical, and emotion state.   I get down on the knees of my heart and cry out to you Lord,  and you give me peace and ask me to just stand still. Lord help us to be still in our weakened state so that you will show your strength..”  Slowly but surely  you take us  through  the storm and we start to see daylight.  As we start to walk toward you Lord you regulate our thoughts. Then eventually  we pick up our pace and start to run. Lord we can feel  you refreshing  our minds and renewing our strength. As our pace gets quicker we take flight and all of our cares are beneath us and we start to soar because you Lord, are the wind  beneath  our wings. NOW  WE ARE RENEWED!

Lenten Prayer

Dear Heavenly  Father, you know what we need even before we ask, but you said we have not because  we ask not. So, Lord, hear our humble cry in the morning, evening, and in the midnight hour to renew our strength  and we will not forget to give you All the Praise, Honor and Glory for what you are doing and about to do in our lives. Patiently Lord we wait, Amen
